Business Continuity Plan in effect across sites, with support for plans, pharmacies, and members
San Juan, PR — Abarca Health announced today that it remains fully operational as a major winter storm brings heavy snow, ice, and dangerous cold across large portions of the United States. Forecasts and official alerts indicate widespread wintry conditions from the South through the Midwest and into the Northeast, with localized blizzard conditions and significant icing. As of today, more than 20 states and Washington, D.C., have declared states of emergency.

Dedicated support for pharmacies and plan sponsors remains available continuously, and Abarca is issuing network updates as local conditions evolve.

Pharmacies experiencing weather-related disruptions can contact the Pharmacy Help Desk for real-time assistance on claims and policy-aligned overrides.
